A "0 to Product" journey translating raw, pure honey into a premium visual identity and packaging system that stands out on the shelves.
Kezia Farms approached Redmark with a simple, high-quality product: 100% pure, natural honey. But in an oversaturated FMCG market dominated by massive corporate brands, selling "purity" isn't enough.
They needed a brand identity that communicated authenticity, premium quality, and trust.
We took Kezia Farms on a complete "0 to Product" journey. From conceptualising the overarching brand aesthetics, to designing the physical product labels and boxes, to art-directing the product photography.
The visual identity relies on deep, velvety blacks contrasted with rich golds and earthy yellows. This departs from the standard "bright yellow and white" tropes typical of supermarket honey brands, instantly positioning Kezia as a premium, artisanal choice.
The label features elegant serifs and deliberate whitespace, allowing the golden amber of the honey itself to do the heavy lifting visually through the glass.
A premium physical product requires rigorous prototyping. We went through several package iterations before landing on the final structure. Initial concepts explored cylindrical tubes and bare minimalist glass, but we ultimately chose a structured, matte-finish outer carton that provided a satisfying unboxing experience while protecting the glass jar.
The label design iterations followed a similar path of refinement. We tested multiple typography weights and gold foil applications to ensure the text remained legible against the dark background while reflecting light beautifully on the shelf. The final iteration struck the perfect balance between classic apothecary aesthetics and modern minimalism.
The packaging system was designed from the ground up to be scalable across Kezia Farms' entire product line. We established a modular grid for the labels that seamlessly adapted to different form factors.
The final design was rolled out across four distinct bottle sizes:
By standardising the typographic hierarchy and material finishes, the brand identity remains unmistakably consistent whether a customer buys a small gift or a bulk jar.
The final packaging system includes an outer matte-finish box and the central glass jar. We provided comprehensive product photography, capturing the honey in natural light to emphasize its raw, unprocessed natural qualities alongside floral accents.
